Please, Please take a few minutes to help get the first ever and so MUCH NEEDED Autism Bill a step further.
100 MPs are needed to attend Parliament on Friday 27th February and vote in favour of the bill â€" 38 have committed so far.
Parliament is not normally open on Fridays, so MPs must make an advance commitment to be there and vote â€" their diaries will be getting full now.
Look here to see if your MP is on the list: http://www.think- differently. org.uk/MPcountdo wn.aspx
If not, please email your MP and ask them to commit to attend and vote for the Autism Bill on 27th February.
Numbers will count â€" if we all do it, our MPs will listen â€" please find a few moments=2 0to tell them how important it is to families.
For more information on the Autism Bill please see www.autism.org. uk/autismbill
For any of you with a bit more time and energy, the National Autistic Society is also urging us to write to our local papers about the Autism Bill so that MPs will see that the issue is being raised in the media.
There is a letter template at http://www.think- differently. org.uk/autismbil l2009.aspx
Lets do it!
