X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has apologised to viewers over comments she made about a contestant's sexuality.

Dannii: 'It was meant to be a humorous moment'
Danyl Johnson altered the lyrics of Whitney Houston's And I Am Telling You so that he was singing about a woman, rather than a man.
During Saturday's show Minogue said: "If you're to believe everything you read in the papers, then you didn't need to change the gender references in the song."
Minogue faced a torrent of criticism over the remark and has now said 'sorry'.
"I want to clear up exactly what happened on last night's X Factor show and post my sincere apologies to anyone who took offence," she said.
"I made a comment about Danyl changing the lyrics of his song.
"It was meant to be a humorous moment about the fact he had an opportunity to have fun with his song.
"An openly bi-sexual guy singing a song that is lyrically a 'girls' song'.

Danyl was highly praised by judges
"Danyl and I were joking about the very same thing in rehearsals on Friday, so it carried on to the show.
"I'd like to apologise to anyone that was offended by my comments, it was never my intention."
She added: "I spoke to Danyl straight after the show last night and he wasn't offended or upset by my comments, and knew exactly what I was saying."
Johnson's performance was highly praised, with Simon Cowell urging the 27-year-old dance teacher from Reading to ignore the comments.
Fellow judge Cheryl Cole added that he "absolutely smashed it" but urged him to be cautious, saying there was a "fine line between confidence and cockiness".
Minogue repeated her apology on Sunday's X Factor show and was backed by Cowell, who said he may have "overreacted" to her original remarks
